COVID-19 Update re. Shipping & Social Media
COVID-19 update 24.03.2020 10:30am
Good morning lovely Apt Cavalier followers and customers!
In these uncertain times, I know you all have a head full of worries and concerns to be occupied with, but I wanted to take a quick moment to address you directly this morning with just a couple of announcements from me, here at AC.
I thank you so much for shopping with us and giving us your support, it is appreciated more than I can ever tell you. During the lockdown, I will no longer be sharing direct sales posts on our Facebook and Instagram. Although I would love for you to continue shopping with us, during these uncertain times, where money and wages are uncertain (including my own), I do not want to pressure you into buying what, realistically, are non-essential items. Instead, we will be using this time to spread feel-good posts, photos and updates from our lovely riders, success stories, playlists, videos and any other nonsense I can come up!
I want you to feel welcome on our page, even if you are not shopping, and feel it is a place you can reach out and engage on our posts with like-minded equestrians.
I will be working from my home office and will continuing to process and ship orders for those who would like a little pick-me-up in the form of AC, however, I do ask for your patience as delivery times will be slightly longer than the first-class service you are used to. I will be posting all smaller items into the post box at the end of our street, to avoid human contact where possible, on a daily basis. For larger packages I will be combining trips to the Post Office with any essential shopping we are doing - once or twice a week - again to try and minimise social contact and to help ease the strain on the Post Office service. I do hope you feel that this is a suitable solution in these times. Due to this, I have reduced our UK shipping from £4.95 to £3.50 as a small compensation for the extra time.
Thanks again for your support and stay safe everybody - taking action (or not in this case) and staying in your homes now will help us all get back to normal quicker.
Here is a happy photo of me and Woody to spread some joy
